New stuff makes me nervous, especially when it's something I suck at.

Please refrain from asking things I don't know.
Seriously? Does John McCain expect the "prom queen" approach to succeed in winning a presidential election? The debate tonight was a joke. Any topic Palin didn't understand or have previous mayoral experience, she dodged. Not that I fully believe Obama/Biden is the answer, because at this point who knows. I do have more faith in Biden than Palin, should McCain not be able to fulfill his term. I wonder if he would run again in 4 years at 97?
I'm not upset that the Cubs are losing - it's what I'm used to. I've never known any other way. It's comforting to know that the economy or unnecessary wars don't change everything.
I'm a Yankees fan now, in addition to my allegiance to the Braves. I guess it's ok to have a team in each League. After watching all 7 hours (every single one) of the pre-game coverage before the last game at Yankees Stadium, I have a new appreciation for the franchise and it's affect on America's Pastime. Plus, since they didn't make the playoffs, no one can call me a wagon jumper.
Here's how it works, in case you didn't know:
Auburn fan - birth
Kentucky fan - necessity to stay in the parent's will and eventually 2nd nature
Braves fan - since my first game at Fulton County Stadium
Yankees fan - September 2008, the last day of Yankees Stadium
Alabama fan - Ha!
You can never have enough "inspirational" moments serenaded by Lee Greenwood. His royalties must be through the cracked glass ceiling.
Heather - I hope this suffices.
